What is the mission of The Link of Cullman County?
We are a faith-based non-profit working to break the cycle of poverty in Cullman, AL through encouragement, education, and employability training.
Are there other places besides Cullman County that The Link is located?
At this time, we are located only in Cullman, AL.
Where did the idea of The Link of Cullman County come from?

How many locations do you serve and where are you located?
We serve in 23 different locations throughout the year.
Our main office is located at The Community Place, 708 9th Street SE Cullman, AL 35055. We are open 8:30 am-4:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. We close daily at noon for lunch. We are also open from 8:30-3 pm on Wednesdays. This is where you want to come for the majority of our programs and services. We serve a monthly meal, The Gathering, on the fourth Thursday of every month.
We also serve Cullman County in 18 different elementary and high schools, the Cullman County Detention Center, Childhaven, three different churches, and the Cullman City Library through the summer months.
I have been referred to you, do I need to set up an appointment for my first visit?
You do not need an appointment for your first visit, however, you will want to make sure you visit with us during regular working hours. Should it be necessary to meet with other staff members, follow-up appointments may be needed.

Do you pay utilities, provide shelter/housing, or clothing for those in need?
We do not pay utilities or provide shelter/housing for those in need. We do act as a referral source for those who need that type of crisis support. We do not provide clothing at this time, however, we will be helping people with career-related items in the near future. Check back for updates.

Yes, we are a 501c3 organization approved by the IRS to receive financial contributions.
What ages and genders do you serve?
We serve five years old through adult in 18 different programs and services throughout our year.
